Cher
Joe and Judy's first Cocker Spaniel was named Cher. The only Cocker they ever owned whose name did not begin with a "J". But that is another story.
Cher stayed with our mom and dad during the time Joe and Judy had to live in an apartment in Wahoo while their house was being built. She was next door to Bob and I and got to know Suzy. The time finally came when their house was done and Cher Bear, her nickname, moved to Wahoo. Darlene missed her. Joe and Judy loved her.
Juniper
Joe has never owned a dog that wasn't a Cocker Spaniel. After Cher, the next dog to join the Wahoo Weyands was Juniper. By now Joe and Judy were parents. Each child's name begins with a "j"; therefore, each dog to join the family must have a name beginning with a J also.
Jordan
After Juniper, another Cocker joined the Weyand family. He was named after one of the greatest basketball players of all time, Michael Jordan.
Joe will have to fill in the blanks about Juniper and Jordan as I never got to know them as well as Cher.
